College basketball betting handicappers have been treated to some of the most thrilling games and it isn’t even close to March Madness time yet for the 2011 – 12 season. Tonight, the NCAAB will bring fans to their feet again, as there are many intriguing games to pick from. Using our bookie software files, we have come up with a couple games for everyone to wager on.
Kentucky Wildcats at St. John’s Red Storm – One of only two AP 25 games scheduled for tonight, features the top seeded Kentucky Wildcats taking on the unranked St. John’s Red Storm. Based strictly on last season, this game would have been considered by many, to be one of the most intriguing matchups. After all, the Red Storm has always been strong defensively, while the Wildcats are in a class of their own, dominating the rest of the NCAA like a strong NBA team.
This game will be no easy task for the Red Storm, as not only are they facing the nation’s new top seed, but they will have to do so without star player Steve Lavin. Lavin is still recovering from surgery after removing his prostate, which had cancer in it. With heavy hearts, the Red Storm could keep things close in this game, and even win it for Lavin. What’s most likely to happen is that Anthony Davis and Marquis Teague of Kentucky, will dominate off the glass, and help Kentucky win the game.
Georgetown Hoyas v Alabama Crimson Tide – This is the second of the two AP 25 games, as the unranked Hoyas travel to Alabama to take on the 12th ranked Crimson Tide. On paper, this could be one of the better valued games of the season, as Georgetown always fields a good program. On the contrary, this is the first time we can recall Alabama putting a good team together, can they keep it going? Both teams have strong offenses, and should be able to go over the total.
